The Role
We are seeking a motivated Accounts Administrator to join the finance team. This is a permanent, full-time onsite role based in Tallaght.
You'll report directly to the Finance Manager and play a key role in supporting the Finance function with accurate and timely processing of transactions across accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
Key Responsibilities- Daily bank reconciliations
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Maintenance of creditor/debtor ledgers
- Preparation of supplier pay runs and EFT payments
- Monthly creditor statement reconciliations
- Lodgements and occasional bank visits
- Recharge of site utilities and shared service costs
- Assist with nominal ledger maintenance and trial balance preparation (including payroll reconciliation)
- Support budgeting and annual audit processes
- Resolve internal and external queries promptly
- Assist with month-end close off
- Provide payroll cover (weekly and monthly)
- General administration: scanning, filing, shredding
- Skills & Experience
- Strong Excel skills essential
- Previous experience in a finance/accounts department
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work under own initiative
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Track record of commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- A self-starter with 2+ years' experience in finance/accounts
- Someone currently pursuing accounting exams or keen to progress - exam fees and study support provided
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate in a small, dynamic team environment
