Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Purpose of the Position:To engage with women to participate within the project. To work as part of a team and provide support to other staff and assist with organising activities, courses and programmes for community groups and women that are involved in the centre.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:The following is not an exhaustive list of the duties associated with the post but is intended for the guidance of the person assigned to the job:
To support WCI DLR staff in the organisation and running of all WCI DLR activities.To greet and look after participants and visitors who call to the Centre.
To be the first point of contact with women accessing WCI DLR to support and direct them with their queries to the most appropriate supports available
Develop an information service to local women where applicable.
Link with local women informing them what is happening within the project.
Working within the project to support all in house services/ supports/ events – setting up rooms/space, meeting and greeting participants, registration, networking etc.
To ensure the safety & welfare of the groups attending the centre.
To ensure all interaction with the women and groups are approached in a sensitive manner and with confidentiality, dignity and respect.
General assistance with the organisation and running of classes, outings and events for the women and groups involved in the centre.
Develop seasonal brochure/newsletter, in conjunction with WCI DLR staff, to be distributed to the local communities.
Design posters for local events and programmes when necessary.
To keep WCI DLR centre a clean and hygienic space.
To maintain and file relevant information into appropriate systems and databases following GDPR guidelines.
To organise meetings and contact course/Project participants as required.
To support local networks and attend meetings if necessary.
To undertake outreach work in the community.
To link regularly and keep the Project Co-ordinator informed of issues arising in house and at local and community level.
To participate in team or individual training opportunities as requested.
Respect and maintain confidentiality of all aspects of the centre activities and service users.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with others working in the organisation.
To attend PICES team training and meetings.
Other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
