Surgical Sales Executive Orthopaedic Implants & NeuroSurgery Munster New

Role Overview:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a high-performing individual to join their surgical sales team to manage, develop grow the Orthopaedic Implant & NeuroSurgery Portfolio’s within Ireland, specifically in the Munster area.

In this role your core responsibilities will include:

  • Generating sales to achieve profitability/margins in line with delineated targets.
  • Identify and maximise new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Promote the AESCULAP Orthopaedic Implant & NeuroSurgery portfolio’s.
  • Identify efficiencies for our partners & areas of growth for company within the Orthopaedic & NeuroSurgery markets while distinguishing the AESCULAP brand from the competition.
  • Proven capability to lead theatre/hospital capital projects, delivering value as a trusted systems partner.
  • Enhance the existing Service model for Orthopaedic Procedures & NeuroSurgery.
  • Identify new & foster existing partnerships within The Public and Private Hospital settings in Ireland.
  • Managing key projects.
  • Maintaining market and competitor analysis and providing regular feedback.
  • Providing training, presentations, in-services, and education to end users.
  • To keep abreast of developments and trends within the territory and to monitor & feedback competitor activity to the AESCULAP Business Lead.
  • At all times to represent the Company and it's products in a professional manner.
  • To establish and maintain relationships with key accounts/ customers.
  • To develop the company’s Aesculap Orthopaedic/NeuroSurgery portfolio’s.
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences both nationally and internationally as required.
  • Maintain appropriate and up-to-date product knowledge on the Company’s range of products/ services to ensure accuracy of communications and strong reputation and credibility with our customers.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong sense of urgency to respond to customer needs
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to deal with customers effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to coordinate and train other staff & customers
  • Resilient – able to deal with a challenging, and fast paced environment.
  • Be self-driven and goal orientated, with the tenacity to effectively handle and move past objections.
  • Develop good clinical and business relationships with Regional Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Promote and grow the key product range with relevant customers with a clinical need for the product, with a specific focus on Orthopaedic Surgeons and hospitals.
  • Be an excellent planner and problem solver with the aptitude to adapt and think creatively in an everchanging environment a commitment to collaborative team values

Basic Requirements:

  • Commercial Experience in this field preferable minimum of 2/3 years.
  • Proven experience building customer relationships.
  • Experience of the local healthcare sector
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
