Duties
As a Homecare Assistant with Clannad Care, your duties will encompass a wide range of responsibilities designed to support the health, comfort, and well-being of your clients. These duties may include, but are not limited to:
Hygiene Assistance
Dressing Support
Mobility Assistance
Social Interaction
Comfort Measures
Assistance with Daily Activities
Medication Reminders
Light Housekeeping
Meal Preparation
Documentation
Adhering to Safety Protocols
Work Hours
Requirements:
QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support - Care Skills and Care of the Older Person - completed / in process of completing / commitment to complete.
A full, valid driver’s license is essential for traveling to clients’ homes and providing care in various locations (may not be essential for some city locations)
A minimum of 6 months of experience in a homecare setting is preferred, though Clannad Care offers training and induction for all new hires, ensuring you are well-prepared for the role.
Full Time and Part Time positions are available, offering flexibility to accommodate diverse schedules and lifestyles.
Salary
Incremental pay scale up to €19.37 plus mileage allowance
