Hygiene Supervisor

Our client is seeking an experienced Hygiene Supervisor to lead night shift hygiene operations within a food manufacturing facility in Naas, Co. Kildare. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high hygiene, food safety, and compliance standards while ensuring effective production handover each morning.

This is a permanent night shift role, Monday to Friday (9:00pm-5:30am), with a 20% night shift premium.

• Proven experience supervising or managing hygiene teams within food manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of BRC standards and food safety systems
• Experience working in a compliance driven, audited environment
• Sound understanding of cleaning methodologies, chemicals, and COSHH requirements
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Flexible and committed to permanent night shift working

• Lead and supervise the night shift hygiene team to achieve daily targets and standards
• Plan and deliver daily, weekly, and long term cleaning schedules
• Maintain hygiene documentation, records, and audit readiness
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, COSHH, and health and safety legislation
• Oversee hygiene chemicals, consumables, stock control, and dosing equipment
• Carry out and support ATP, environmental, and microbiological swabbing
• Liaise with Production, Technical, Maintenance, and Health and Safety teams
• Drive continuous improvement in hygiene standards, systems, and practices
