Maintenance Electrician
Our client is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to help keep there machines and equipment working safely and reliably. You will work closely with the production team to fix problems, do repairs, and improve how things run.This job is mainly focused on electrical work, but you will also need to use some mechanical and computer skills. Every day will be different, and you’ll have a chance to learn and grow.
Duties:
Check and maintain equipment regularly to prevent problems.Respond quickly to breakdowns and fix faults.
Work on machines like motors, sensors, PLCs (control systems), compressors, boilers, and more.
Update and create electrical drawings (we use AutoCAD).
Help install new machines and make changes to improve performance.
Keep spare parts organised and make sure we have what we need.
Work safely and keep your work area clean and tidy.
Be part of a team, but also able to work on your own when needed.
Take part in projects to help improve how the plant runs.
Skills:
You have experience working as an industrial or maintenance electrician.You understand how to work with electrical systems and controls.
You can read and understand technical drawings.
You have good problem-solving and communication skills.
You care about working safely and doing a quality job.
You are happy to also do some basic mechanical work (training can be given).
You’re a team player but can work on your own when needed.
