Information Security Analyst

Morgan Mckinley is partnering with a key organisation in the Transport sector based in Dublin and seeking an experienced and proactive Information Security & Risk Analyst to join a growing organisation. This role is responsible for overseeing information security governance, risk management, compliance activities, and business continuity processes across the organisation. As an Information Security Analyst you will play a key role in ensuring security best practices are embedded throughout the business while supporting regulatory and industry compliance requirements.

• You will lead and support security, compliance, and risk audits across the organisation, ensuring alignment with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR requirements.
• You will investigate information security issues and conduct risk assessments for existing services and new projects.
• You will coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation activities with technical teams.
• You will maintain and improve the ISMS, risk registers, and business continuity/disaster recovery processes.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure security policies, procedures, and compliance standards are effectively implemented and maintained.

• Ideally 5 years' experience in a similar information security, governance, risk, or compliance role.
• Proficient working knowledge of ISO standards, particularly ISO 27001.
• Proven track record with security and compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
• Good understanding of networks, system architecture, and information security controls.
• Collaborative approach with a focus on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

• Strong communication and analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
• Experience supporting organisational resilience and governance initiatives.
