Film Events and Client Coordinator
Light House Cinema are hiring a Film Events and Client Coordinator for a full-time position.The Light House is a vibrant, ever-changing space, with a reputation for nurturing creativity and a commitment to all strands of cinema. Alongside regular Light House film programming, the venue runs a wide range of international events and special screening hires for industry, corporate and private clients.
The role would involve coordinating event hire bookings, administration, and communications, as well as supporting/running the events themselves. In addition to event hire, the role would also be required to invest time and effort in building strong relationships with international and Embassy clients, offering multilingual support as well as reaching new potential customers.
The role requires a driven and ambitious individual with a passion for cinema, as well as the flexibility to adapt to the ever-shifting spectrum of programming that the Light House facilitates.
This role is to be performed in person at this address: Light House Cinema. Market St S, Smithfield, Dublin 7, D07 R6YE, IrelandThe salary for this role is: €34,000 per annum
5 days, 39 hours per weekRequirements: 2+ years of experience in a similar role within a cinema or theatre
Proficiency with VISTA (or another box office ticketing system) and Rosetta Bridge TMS systemsExperience operating projectors
Multilingual
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer development and relationship management skills
Flexibility to work a range of shift times, including evenings, and some weekends from time to time
Desirable qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or International/Cultural affairs
Experience with Barco, Sony or DCI compliant projectorsTechnical expertise in audiovisual systems
Duties/ Responsibilities
Respond to enquiries, scheduling viewing appointments, tracking enquiries etc.
Admin support including drafting contracts, managing invoices
Organising, planning and running events alone or coordinating within a team for both industry and corporate clients globally across a wide spectrum of events which include premieres, previews, conferences, launches, film festivalsWork with international customers such as embassy representatives offering multilingual support to ensure efficient communication and client satisfaction
Provide assistance in handling the day-to-day aspects of reactive sales & planning to include enquiries, proposals, chasing, contracting, and client face to face interactions
Collaborate with our team to build events alongside the programme and special events to compliment Light House Cinema culture
