This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
A Caretaker is being sought to care for a number of properties in use for meetings, classes and events. This role involves operating as part of a wider team caring for the properties of St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral. As the role involves representing the Cathedral when liaising with users of the various venues, the Caretaker needs to be personable and customer service focused.
The main responsibilities of the role are:- Guided by the venue booking records, set up each venue as required for the user
- Facilitate access and closing of rooms and venues
- Keep all venues clean and serviced
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance, reporting larger works to management
- Mowing and strimming grass and minor plant care
- Monitoring use of rented car park spaces
- Assist the Cathedral Cleaner as required
