Job Description
This placement is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of 3D visualisation and digital content creation at Innovision Media. As an Assistant 3D Artist, you will work alongside our experienced team, learning industry-standard techniques in 3D modelling, texturing, and rendering, with a focus on projects for environmental impact assessments, infrastructure visualisation, and immersive VR experiences.
During this placement, you will develop practical skills in software such as 3DS Max, Unreal Engine, and Adobe Creative Suite, while also gaining insight into photomontage workflows and project management. This is a learning-focused placement, not a formal job, and you will not be expected to carry full responsibility for projects.
The role includes 60 hours of dedicated training, including 20 hours of accredited instruction, providing a solid foundation for future work in the 3D industry.
Please note that this placement does not guarantee ongoing employment, but it will provide valuable industry experience in a supportive learning environment.
Role Description
This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection.This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP.
The role includes 60 hours of dedicated training, including 20 hours of accredited instruction, providing a solid foundation for future work in the 3D industry.
The candidate will receive informal training in:
3D modelling and texturing workflowsImage compositing and photomontage techniques
Project file management and pipeline organisation
Industry-standard software such as 3DS Max, Unreal Engine, and Adobe Creative Suite
Basic VR content creation and interactive media
In addition the candidate will receive formal training (up to 20 hours) from an online training platform in a 3D related area of their choosing. This is not specified as will be dependent on candidate experience.- Sector:
