Overview:

The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our brand by effectively managing various
aspects of the store's operations. This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead and inspire a sales team, drive sales strategies, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure smooth shop administration. The
Store Manager will oversee everything from team development and sales targets to inventory control and
customer service standards. The responsibilities encompass various domains, each crucial for maintaining the

store's performance and upholding the brand's image.

Responsibilities:

Team Support

Support the Store Manager in leading, motivating, and inspiring the sales team. Contribute to a positive team culture by providing ongoing guidance and supporting individual development and performance.

Sales Performance

Assist in executing sales strategies and achieving store targets. Help maintain the brand’s image throughout all customer interactions, while actively supporting the team in meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Customer Experience

Engage with customers to deliver exceptional service, respond to inquiries, resolve issues effectively, and ensure a memorable and positive shopping experience.

Store Administration

Support the Store Manager with daily administrative tasks including inventory management, stock control, cash handling, and sales reporting. Ensure adherence to company procedures and policies.

Shop Operations

Assist in overseeing the smooth running of daily store operations. This includes managing opening and closing procedures, contributing to an efficient store layout, and helping maximise store profitability.

Staff Coordination

Help coordinate staff scheduling, training, and delegation of responsibilities. Motivate and guide the team to meet their targets and uphold high service standards.

Financial Support

Support the monitoring of sales performance, budgeting, and financial targets. Assist with basic accounting functions and the preparation of regular financial reports.

Inventory Management

Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels through accurate stock counts and effective replenishment. Participate in seasonal adjustments and stockroom organisation.

Customer Service Standards

Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service. Reinforce brand-aligned staff behaviour, promote a safe and secure environment, and support the development of emergency and health & safety procedures.

Loss Prevention

Aid in implementing and maintaining effective loss prevention strategies. Monitor inventory and sales discrepancies, and assist in reducing shrinkage through preventive measures.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a focus on team development and customer satisfaction.
