There is an excellent opportunity for an Automation Equipment Designer to join an expanding innovative company based in Cork that supports the Electronics, Metal, Machining industries. This a great opportunity to be a part of a highly dedicated team of engineers which you will undertake plenty of technical work individually and as part of a team environment.
Duties Include:
To liaise with stakeholders for project delivery: Customer, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
Support and communicate effectively with the Engineer Manager with defining work packages, planning and organising automation activities.Modifications to design and manage design changes.
Complete all documentation to the highest quality and oversee all acceptance testing.
Carry out basic electrical troubleshooting when required.
Ensure quality in projects for usability, reliability and manufacturability.

Essential Requirements:
3+ years’ experience working within Automation/Mechatronics Environment.Solid Works or equivalent experience required.
Understanding of Part Building B.O.M. Manage Design Changes .
Knowledge of Industrial Automation/Robotics.
Production and Customer Support.
Positive attitude towards work with a willing ness to continually learn.
Well organised approach to work.
Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
