Realtime Accountants is a expanding Firm based in Ballymount in South West Dublin www.rta.ie
In response to increasing business activity we are expanding our team and are looking for an enthusiastic intern who has an interest in becoming an accountant / accountancy . The role offers the right individual the opportunity to build a solid foundation in accounting and build a diverse range of accounting skills as part of a dynamic team.
A successful candidate will gain experience in a diverse array of clients and industries, and receive modern training in the latest methods and systems for managing clients tax and accounting affairs.
The position will begin with basic bookkeeping methods and advance to full accounts preparation and liaising with revenue and managing all affairs on behalf of clients.
As an expanding office there is a real chance for a successful and hardworking candidate to grow with the firm in knowledge, expertise, responsibility and salary. all existing staff are now full-time and started on the same basis.
We are seeking a candidate with passion and enthusiasm who wants to learn and is not afraid of hard work, challenges progression and eventual success.
The candidate we are looking for must have a high proficiency in the following areas:
- Maths
- IT skills
- English both written & Spoken
All other training will be provided to a successful candidate but a lack of knowledge in the needed areas above will not be acceptable - if you do not have proficiency in these areas please do not apply.
Our preference is for a candidate who has / or is in the progress of completing college or a related degree, although this is a preference we do also welcome candidates seeking a career change.
Travel fees & stipend will be paid ( dependant on interview ) and the position is for 16 hours per week / 2 days as suits - this role can expand to a full-time position and has done so in the past.
