We’re seeking an experienced Python Software Engineer to join a global product development team focused on cybercrime and abuse prevention. This is an opportunity to work alongside security researchers and data scientists in a fast-moving environment where your work will make a real impact.

- Includes security researchers, data scientists, and engineers.
- Entire team currently works remotely worldwide.
- Customer-focused, operating globally (flexibility required for urgent issues, but no need to work US hours).

- Collaborates closely with law enforcement – integrity and professionalism are essential.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications and frameworks using Python.
- Work with large-scale, high-volume data environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including researchers, data scientists, and engineers.
- Ship production-ready code quickly while maintaining high quality.
- Contribute to architecture design and technical decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in real time.
- Champion continuous improvement and best practices within the team.
- 5–9 years’ experience as a Software Engineer (exceptional candidates with 2+ years considered).
- Strong professional expertise in Python (primary language).
- Proven track record in building scalable systems, APIs, and microservices.
- Experience in frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
- High levels of commitment, integrity, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Exposure to cybersecurity, fraud detection, or abuse prevention systems.
