The re:Cycle Reverse Logistics team is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced and professional Security Manager. You will have experience managing security of large critical infrastructure installations, ideally in high security environments.

You will have professional experience managing people with varying skill sets, devising strategies, creating, tracking and leading budgets, sponsoring projects, and driving improvements of our security readiness.

You will lead and uphold the high standards of the physical security protocols for an operational team that performs decommissioning services of Data Center Hardware in a high-volume industrial environment. The team receives parts, performs sanitization procedures, maintains inventory, and performs visual inspections as needed following all data security and environmental compliance procedures.

Key job responsibilities

Your responsibilities include maintaining an extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology, and the risks and threats that could impact the operation. With also performing annual risk analysis to provide leadership and best practices on security policy and practices.

In addition to supporting the operations team with security related advice, and guidance as well as contract security staff in achieving current and long-range strategic program objectives.

You will routinely collaborate with your peers in other sites and regions to ensure the operations under your supervision provide a safe and secure environment and safeguard the protection of the assets within the operation. Your team will also educate stakeholders on the importance of emergency readiness, encourage a culture of security awareness, conduct regular drills and update all plans annually.

You will be required to provide periodic performance, program and strategic roadmap briefings to senior leaders.

The ideal candidate will be a confident, decisive, influential and innovative leader who can communicate a compelling and comprehensive set of outcomes to be achieved. You must have the presence and influence to define and enforce high standards for programs you implement and monitor at all levels.
You must be comfortable with ambiguity, and can define structure, processes and standards where none yet exist. - 1+ years' experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of the administration and operation of: access control systems (Lenel, Milestone) and CCTV systems with digital recording.
  • Additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus.- College Degree and/or Background in one or more of: Military (Career/Military Police/Military Elite Forces), Law Enforcement (Police Academy Graduate), TSA Security Screening, Correctional Facility Officer
  • 2+ years Security experience or equivalent (demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education)
  • 1+ year Leadership experience
