About the Role:Join our friendly team at Wexford Local Development’s Community Services. You’ll play an important part in supporting older people with small maintenance tasks.
What You’ll Do:- Drive our community van (Full B licence required)
- Cut grass, strim, weed, water and maintain flowers and shrubs
- Carry out small DIY and repair jobs for older people (full training provided)
- Be helpful, friendly, and respectful when working with clients
- Keep simple records and paperwork
- Work with and support your CE Supervisor and team
- A full B driving licence (essential)
- An interest in outdoor work and/or DIY (skills welcome but not essential)
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability and respect for the people we work with
- Accredited training to support your career development
- Valuable work experience in driving, maintenance, and customer service
