About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and driven Service Technician to join a dynamic team operating across Cork and surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll be responsible for delivering a professional on-site hydraulic hose repair and replacement service. If you enjoy working independently, solving problems, and being out on the road, this is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in a growing technical field.

• Providing a high-quality, responsive on-site hose replacement service to customers
• Managing your own Mobile Sales & Service Unit (MSSU) day-to-day
• Maintaining stock levels and ensuring your vehicle is fully equipped and operational
• Carrying out routine vehicle and equipment checks
• Promoting products and services to both existing and potential customers
• Maintaining accurate documentation and staying up to date with technical procedures
• Supporting colleagues and workshop staff when required
• Participating in a 24-hour on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays

We’re seeking someone who is:

• Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills
• Well-presented and professional at all times
• Committed to maintaining high standards of health & safety

• Background in plant, mechanical, motor trade, or hydraulics is highly desirable
• Experience in a technical or engineering environment is an advantage (training provided for the right candidate)
• Strong problem-solving skills and practical mindset

• Full Irish driving licence (with willingness to complete an online licence check)
• Junior Certificate (or equivalent) in English, Irish, and Maths
