Maintenance Operator - Manufacturing Industry

We are seeking a Maintenance Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is key to ensuring the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, reporting any unusual machinery behaviour.
• Perform minor repairs and support in resolving major breakdowns.
• Communicate with engineering and production teams during downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to minimise machine failures.
• Maintain and update critical spare parts inventory.
• Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support and train production floor staff on machinery changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
• Issue permits and site inductions for contractors.
