Maintenance Operator - Manufacturing Industry
We are seeking a Maintenance Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is key to ensuring the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, reporting any unusual machinery behaviour.
- Perform minor repairs and support in resolving major breakdowns.
- Communicate with engineering and production teams during downtime.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to minimise machine failures.
- Maintain and update critical spare parts inventory.
- Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support and train production floor staff on machinery changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
- Issue permits and site inductions for contractors.
Ideal Candidate:
✅ Strong mechanical or electrical background in a manufacturing setting.✅ Experience with fault-finding techniques and troubleshooting.
✅ Familiarity with site facilities and production processes.
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✅ Ability to work independently while collaborating with various departments.
