Customer Service Specialist - Agri

FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Customer Services Specialist ( Agri ) on behalf of a leading agribusiness distributor in Co Galway. This is a full-time permanent role.

Our client has a long and proud history as one of Irelands leading distributors of animal welfare and feeding technology products. This role will involve supporting B2B customers in both Ireland and UK.

The Commercial Services Specialist is responsible for driving commercial growth by identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities with a specific and strategic focus on new business development. The role includes building relationships with and between clients and suppliers, executing sales strategies, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.

• Participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly Commercial Services Team meetings to ensure tasks and responsibilities are updated, monitored, and executed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with business goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries and feedback
• Conduct regular client meetings and farm visits to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Work with suppliers to develop new solutions and services, including forecasting and procurement
• Attend industry events, tradeshows, and networking opportunities.
• Prepare and submit reports on sales performance and activities as requested.
• Provide regular updates to the senior team, highlighting progress and challenges.
• Account management of customers in UK & Ireland

• A 3rd level Degree in Agriculture or Business.
• A background or interest in dairy farming
• 1-2 years PQE experience in an operations or commercial role
• Full driving licence
