Our Client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant on a temporary Full Time Contract for 3 months.

Role Summary:

The International Co-ordinator will play a key role in supporting the implementation and delivery of the School of Medicine’s internationalisation strategy, with particular emphasis on student recruitment, mobility, partnerships, and student support.
As the School of Medicine hosts the largest cohort of international undergraduate students at the educational institution the post holder will take primary responsibility for the management of international student administration and support.

In addition, they will contribute to recruitment and marketing initiatives. The role reports to the School’s International Manager and involves close day-to-day collaboration with the School of Medicine Administration Team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support with strong organisational skills, effective work prioritisation, and excellent time management.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Higher Education sector and experience working with students in post-leaving cert settings.
  • Coordinate and deliver international mobility programs ensuring smooth operation and compliance.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of three years’ professional experience, ideally within a Higher Education institution or international context, particularly in student recruitment, student support, mobility, or partnerships.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse student and/or staff populations.
  • Proven track record of achievement in complex, results-driven environments.
  • Experience collaborating across functions and managing a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong administrative, planning, and organisational abilities, with the capacity to work independently and take initiative in a busy office setting.
  • Experience in event management, both internal and external to the educational institution.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and confident in learning new IT systems quickly.
