Engineer

Overview:

Vision Built, a Sisk Company, is a leading offsite construction company delivering high-quality modular and panelised building solutions. Our team combines innovation with practical construction expertise to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

We are now recruiting an experienced Engineer to join our team on an exciting project based in Cluny, Co. Sligo where you will be utilising MMC, modern methods of construction, in a fully onsite role.

Responsibilities:

• Setting Out & Surveying: Using equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS) to survey the site and accurately mark out structural points, roads, levels, drainage and boundaries.
• Technical Support & Advice: Providing technical guidance to workers and subcontractors, reviewing design drawings, and ensuring specifications are met.
• Quality & Safety Control: Monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations (H&S) and quality standards (QA)- reviewing RAMS.
• Planning & Scheduling: Creating work schedules, two week lookaheads, coordinating subcontractors, and organizing materials to ensure project milestones are met.
• Reporting & Documentation: Preparing daily/weekly site reports, maintaining records, and managing material reconciliation.
• Problem Solving: Resolving unexpected technical issues or design discrepancies on-site.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar, site-based role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or construction-related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and surveying instruments.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Full, clean driver’s license.
