Plant Manager - Fermoy, Co. Cork - Senior Leadership Role

Our client, based in Fermoy, requires an experienced Plant Manager to lead its Fermoy production operation. The business continues to invest heavily in technology, value-added processing, renewable energy, and manufacturing capacity. This role offers the chance to join a high-growth, innovation-focused organisation at a key strategic time.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead all Production, Maintenance, and SHEQ activities on a busy site employing approx. 120 people. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on wider group manufacturing targets.

Your duties will include:

• Champion a safe working environment and ensure full SHEQ compliance
• Develop and deliver the site production plan to maximise business return
• Monitor performance against KPIs and drive efficiency improvements
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and standardise best practices
• Build strong working relationships across production teams and supervisors
• Support recruitment, onboarding, development and engagement in partnership with HR
• Run regular production meetings and ensure alignment to plan
• Contribute to group production strategy and capital investment planning
• Oversee operations from log intake through primary and secondary processing
• Drive operational excellence and a high-performance culture
