About the Role:

As a Manufacturing Shift Manager, you’ll take the lead in motivating and developing a high-performing team of process leads, developmental leaders, and operations personnel. You'll drive the achievement of production goals while championing process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and team engagement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee daily operations to meet manufacturing schedules and product mix requirements.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives related to plant operations and equipment to ensure top-tier product quality.
  • Promote a culture of productivity, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support employee development through performance assessments and targeted growth plans.
  • Report on manufacturing exceptions and contribute to ongoing improvement strategies.
  • Uphold and advocate for safety, health, and environmental responsibility in all practices.

What You Bring:

  • A third-level qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, Business, or a trade certificate in an Engineering discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading strategic improvement projects.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
