Business Analyst - Fund Administration

Seeking a highly experienced and motivated Business Analyst to join a Fund Administration team in 2026. This role will be pivotal in driving efficiency and managing complex projects, particularly within the workflow space. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in fund administration processes, with a mandatory specialisation in Private Assets, specifically focusing on the investor side of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute comprehensive analysis of current fund administration workflows, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for private assets administration, focusing on investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions, statement generation, reporting, and investor relations processes. This experience is a must-have.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Technology, Relationship Managers) and external clients to elicit, document, analyse, and validate detailed business and functional requirements.
  • Drive the design, testing, and implementation of new or enhanced workflow solutions and technology platforms to optimise operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage projects or work streams related to system implementations, process changes, or new product launches within the fund administration domain.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical and business issues to a variety of audiences, including senior management and non-technical staff.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans (UAT, functional testing) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior BAs and project team members, championing best practices in analysis and project delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry, with a significant focus on Fund Administration.
  • Domain Expertise (Mandatory):
  • Must have experience with Private Assets (e.g., Private Equity, Real Estate, Debt Funds).
  • Must have specific, in-depth experience on the Investor Side of fund administration (LP interactions, waterfall calculations, investor reporting, etc.).
  • Proven experience working with fund administration systems and workflow management tools. Proficiency in data analysis and modeling.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with regulatory reporting requirements relevant to private assets.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
