Credit Control Team Lead

A market-leading company based in Limerick are currently recruiting a Credit Control Team Lead to lead its Credit Control function. This is a key leadership role within the finance team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of credit control from cash collection and credit risk to team management and internal stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a dedicated Credit Control team, ensuring timely and effective collections.
• Review and approve new credit applications, manage credit limits, and monitor high-risk accounts.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve account queries.
• Provide regular reporting on debtors, aged balances, DSO, and bad debt provisions.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with the company's credit policies.
• Support process improvement projects and coach team members to achieve performance goals.

Requirments:

• Proven people management experience - ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong Excel skills - capable of analysing data and producing clear, actionable reports.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using ERP systems
• Highly organised with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
