Location: Co. Wicklow (multiple sites)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Above HSE Payscale (€55,000–€60,000 DOE)

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Carry out in-depth OT assessments (sensory processing, motor skills, daily living, school readiness).
  • Use recognised tools (e.g. Sensory Profile 2, Movement ABC, BOT-2, DCDQ, parent/carer interviews).
  • Provide clear, strengths-based reports and practical recommendations for families, schools, and referrers.
  • Offer parent feedback sessions that support and empower families.
  • Collaborate with educators, GPs, and other professionals to ensure joined-up care.
  • Contribute ideas and energy to service development and quality improvement.
What We’re Looking For
  • BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy and CORU registration.
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience (paediatrics preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of neurodiversity, sensory integration, and functional approaches to child well-being.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in private assessments and detailed report writing.
  • Supporting families through autism, ADHD, or DCD pathways.
  • Knowledge of how OT supports access to education.
