Calling all females in Cork - FIT (Fastrack into Information Technology) have an exciting opportunity with a leading employer starting this October.
Join FIT's all-female Software Development Tech Apprenticeship starting late October 2025. This two-year Tech Apprenticeship programme is suitable for female learners who have completed second-level education or mature female learners seeking to retrain or upskill in the tech industry.Upon completion of the programme, learners will achieve a QQI Level 6 Award.
The Tech Apprenticeship programme combines on-the-job training with off-the-job learning, and FIT have an excellent opportunity with an employer based in County Cork. The training will be primarily online, and learners will be required to complete between 5-15 days in-person training in Dublin.
Tech Apprentices earn while they learn, receiving a salary of €312 per week in the first year, and €408 per week in the second year.
No previous experience is required. Students must be 18 years or older, and have completed the Irish Leaving Cert or have a Level 5 equivalent. Please visit www.fit.ie for more information on entry requirements.
