Application Details
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.
Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Data: The recording and setting up of a database of local knowledge of the Southside both past and present from social change, recognising nationally and internationally how diverse our Communities have become, memories of sports, sports events, Industry, and general everyday life, Many of our seniors have a wealth of knowledge and stories.This is an opportunity to record and display these events/occasions so the memories will not be lost forever.
Groups: Meeting and getting involved with local Community groups, the history surrounding them, sharing their stories and memories.
Liaise and work with members the North Cathedral Folklore Project.Working with the Department of Folklore from UCC.
Amalgamating material from both North and South
(Material have been compiled over the past number of years about the North side of Cork by Cork Folklore Project in the North Cathedral.)
