The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering secure, scalable, and compliant cloud-based solutions.

Role:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases using the Python framework.
• Develop and execute REST API test cases and validate API operations.
• Work with Teradata and similar databases to ensure backend data integrity and process accuracy.
• Collaborate with teams to test and integrate mainframe-based applications.
• Build and maintain automation scripts for Excel-based data processing and validation tasks.
• Enhance and optimize the existing test framework by integrating modern tools and practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to capture testing requirements and deliver test reports.
• Report defects clearly and contribute to resolution efforts with detailed, reproducible documentation.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Behave, and Pytest.
• Solid understanding of REST API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Python libraries (e.g., Requests).
• Proven experience with Teradata and SQL for database testing and data validation.
• Exposure to mainframe systems and familiarity with Zowe Explorer for test automation.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket (Stash).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, especially when translating technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership and project coordination experience.
