Deli Supervisor

Deli Supervisor required for a Service Station in Co. Kilkenny.

The successful candidate must be fully flexible, able to work various shifts, including early mornings and evenings.

The Deli Supervisor will be responsible for the preparation of high-quality hot and cold Deli products while maintaining a high level of customer service.

• Ensuring all HACCP and food safety standards are met, and that all documentation is up to date
• Handling stock and waste control of the Deli products
• Bringing forward new ideas to increase sales and standards within the department
• Managing the day-to-day management of the Deli operations and the employees to improve sales performance
• Supervising employees in various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating counters
• Managing product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damage or spoilage
• Ensuring that products are properly labelled with prices and dates
• Dealing with customer queries to the highest possible standards
• Encouraging an atmosphere of good Customer Service and teamwork within the Deli area
• Completing any back-office administrative duties as required
• Assisting in the preparation of inventory and sales budgets
• Provide training to staff on company policies and sales guidelines.

• Previous experience as a Deli Assistant
• Previous customer service experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
