Location: Pat Hickey Tiles, Farnane, Murroe, Co. Limerick, V94 R893; This vacancy requires the candidate to go to clients' homes/establishments across Ireland.Heavy lifting involved.
Responsibilities: Cutting and installing tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces.
Ensuring that the tiles are cut and installed to precise specifications and that they meet quality standards.Adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
Consulting with clients and other professionals to understand their design and construction needs.
Measuring and marking surfaces for tile installation, cutting and shaping tiles to fit, mixing and applying adhesives and grout, laying tiles in a variety of patterns, ensuring that the tiles are properly supported and secured.
Reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints.
Regularly inspecting and maintaining tools and equipment.
Requirements: Experience in tile installation or a related field preferable
Ability to follow safety procedures and protocolsAttention to detail and good coordination
Knowledge of tile laying techniques
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints preferable
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
Specialist in the installation of large full height slab tiles
