Assistant Accountant
Our client is seeking a hands-on Assistant Accountant to provide short-term support over a 3-month period. The successful candidate will help the finance team on key accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the board.
Job Type: Temporary (up to 3 months)Location: Carlow
Salary: DOE
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with bank reconciliations to bring accounts up to date.Support with credit accruals, prepayments, and journals.
Ensure all reconciliations and adjustments are recorded accurately and on time.
Work closely with the finance team to provide ad hoc accounting support where needed.
Utilise SAP B1 to manage daily accounting tasks and reporting.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant / Accounts role.Strong knowledge of reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
Familiarity with SAP B1 (desirable but not essential – training can be provided).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
Available to start at short notice.
