Financial Accountant/Assistant Financial Accountant

A world leader in the Agri-Sports Industry is currently seeking an accountant to join the team as a Financial Accountant/ Assistant Financial Accountant.

This is a permanent position working from the office full-time. It is an exciting opportunity for ambitious applicants to develop their career within the industry, with exposure to senior management and opportunities to progress.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including analysing and investigating variances
• Monthly reconciliations.
• Annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Statutory reporting and liaising with external auditors
• Financial analysis and financial support to the business
• Continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems development projects
• Other ad hoc projects and duties as required

• Qualified/ Part Qualified Accountant
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with financial accounting and reporting systems
• Aptitude to learn, willingness to progress and ability to assume responsibility
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with senior management
