Application Details
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
A genuine interest in working with children, flexibility and a good level of English is desirable.Duties will include:
To work as part of a team, in an onsite creche/playroom, offering preschool/afterschool and Summer childcare services to children aged 18 months to 12 years that live in a direct provision centre with their families.
To create a safe, warm and caring environment
To implement daily care routines and play based curriculum
To assist in maintaining a cleaning, safe and hygienic facility and record keeping
Follow the policies & procedures of the service at all times
Communicate effectively and maintain high standards of confidentiality.
