A leading international engineering and construction company is seeking a Travel Coordinator to join their team at their head office in South Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting travel operations across multiple European project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all travel-related matters across the business
- Manage the central travel inbox: monitor incoming queries, prioritise requests, and forward appropriately
- Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, hotels, rental cars, and transfers in line with project schedules
- Ensure clear and timely communication between the head office, approvers, and on-site offices
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to confirm travel-related expenses and agreements
- Support travel operations for both Ireland and European sites
- Perform administrative tasks including invoice handling, contract setup, documentation, and form management
- Monitor compliance across all travel requests and policies
- Liaise with the company’s travel agency to ensure high service standards and resolve any issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date travel records
- Produce high-quality travel reports as needed
- Provide updates and reports to the Travel Coordinator Lead and Finance Director
- Support other areas of the Travel Department when required
Requirements:
- Strong command of English (written and verbal)
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Awareness of international travel regulations and procedures
