Salary & Working HoursSalary: From €34,500 gross per annum, negotiable based on experience
Salary will be reviewed and adjusted where required to remain compliant with Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (DETE) employment permit thresholds.
Hours: Full-time, approx. 39 hours per weekContract: Permanent, year-round employment

Weekly Rates (utilities not included):
Double / Twin En-suite: €140 per person per week
(Preference to allocate double en-suite rooms to two people where possible)
Double / Twin – Shared Bathroom: €120 per person per week
Single Room – Shared Bathroom: €100 per week
Accommodation is available for the full duration of employment, subject to availability.
The Role
Smugglers Inn is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join its professional fine dining kitchen team, with a strong emphasis on French cuisine and classical techniques.
This role suits chefs seeking long-term stability in a quality-driven, structured kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage your assigned kitchen section independently
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to fine dining standards
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation during service
Maintain full compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations
Assist with mise en place, ordering, stock control, and rotation
Maintain cleanliness and efficiency within your section
Work effectively within a professional, multicultural kitchen team
Candidate Requirements
EU / EEA citizenship required
3–5+ years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
Proven experience in French cuisine and/or fine dining kitchens
Strong understanding of professional kitchen operations
Good working level of English
Reliable, motivated, and committed to long-term employment
