Hours: 40hrs per week.

• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities that promote learning and development.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
• Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records and communicating findings to parents and colleagues.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring a collaborative approach to each child's development.
• Prioritize children's health, safety, and wellbeing, adhering to all regulatory and organizational policies.
• Support the implementation of the Early Years Curriculum Framework (Aistear) and the Síolta Quality Framework.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices in early childhood education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, when necessary, to support children with additional needs.

• Hold a minimum qualification of Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent (Level 6 or higher preferred).
• Experience working in an early years setting is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• A passion for working with children and a commitment to their holistic development.
