Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

We are currently recruiting for the following role based in one of our affiliated projects, South Area Youth Service (SAYS). SAYS offers the young people of the area Homework and Study support during the school year.
The key responsibilities of the Homework Support worker would be…- To help run the Homework/ Study support programme
- Setting up/ setting down
- Securing supplies.
- Processing attendance sheets and membership forms.
- Recording individual progress and needs.
- To assist the young people with their homework/ study
- To help identify individual homework related needs (e.g. individual support on a subject within a group environment).
- To support occasional outings and treats for the Homework/ Study group.
- To support other activities for the young people when schools are closed.
