In a nutshell

As an Associate Project Manager you will be crucial in defining and delivering the product roadmap for our central Laboratory Information Management System; by organizing the deployment of a set of IT Applications and services used throughout Europe by all Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics laboratories.

Where will you be based and what business will you support?

Based in Dublin, you will join a globally distributed Clinical LIMS Europe Program that will extensively be used as the central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe.

Eurofins endeavours to develop all of our software applications in-house to service and support our numerous laboratories globally. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed every day, the laboratories of the Eurofins clinical diagnostic services business line strive to ensure that every patient, wherever he or she lives, has access to the most specialized and most innovative techniques for diagnosis, monitoring and therapeutic decisions.Such activities require extensive planning and organisation which can be augmented by the use of technology.

How can you help us?

As an Associate Project Manager you will:

  • Plan and facilitate the deployment projects including risk and issue management;
  • Coordinate various internal and external stakeholders of the IT program, including laboratories; deployment project managers and Infrastructure team;
  • Build and execute the roadmap of global applications from development to production support, ensuring alignment with the Program roadmap and continuity of service for consumers;
  • Mitigate impediments autonomously, in order to meet deployment timelines with high quality.

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

You have
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator of complex IT projects in an international organization;
  • A deep understanding and first-hand experience of traditional and agile project management methodologies used in the industry like PRINCE2 or Scrum;
  • Understanding of IT Quality Management Systems and/or Agile Frameworks;
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences in English. Additional language skills in French, Dutch or German are a plus, but not a must;
  • High proficiency with Microsoft office tools including MS Project and Azure DevOps;
  • A Master’s degree in IT or Business Management;
  • The ability to balance pragmatism and drive for action with structural improvements;
  • The ability to integrate and adapt quickly;
  • Very good communication and interpersonal relation skills;
  • Proven analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills;

You are:

  • Energetic, well organized and quality oriented;
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability;
  • Fluent in written and oral English.

What else should I know?

The following skills are an advantage:

  • Experience with ERP like deployment projects in a mid-size organization;
  • Experience with Azure DevOps;
