Southside Travellers Action Group is seeking a D1 mini bus driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our passengers while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining the vehicle in a safe and clean condition.
- Recording the mileage of the vehicle.
- Picking up and dropping off passengers at designated locations.
- Assisting passengers with boarding and exiting the bus.
- Communicating effectively with passengers and providing excellent customer service.
- Safely operating the bus while following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Complying with safety regulations.
- Reporting and keeping records of any incidents.
- Ensuring passengers comply with safety precautions, such as wearing seatbelts and remaining seated when the vehicle is in motion.
- Completing relevant health and safety training.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performing any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or line manager.
- Possession of a valid D1 driver's license
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
