We are now seeking a part-qualified Assistant Financial Accountant to join our team. The role involves managing day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records and supporting clients with their accounting needs.
Job Details:Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 39hrs a week
Location: 18 Dame Street and Wicklow House, South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, Ireland – four days onsite and one remotely
Salary: €36,605 per annum
Start date: 1st October 2026
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial statements and reports for review.
Reconcile key nominal ledger accounts, including payroll, leases, fixed assets, intercompany accounts, accruals, prepayments and deferred revenue.
Record financial transactions accurately in accounting software.
Assist in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
Ensure financial statements meet deadlines and compliance requirements.
Support the year-end closing process, including final journal entries.
Assist in processing monthly payroll.
Communicate professionally via phone and email.
Work with managers on special projects as needed.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience: Part-qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
At least one years of experience in an accounting role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
