Support Worker & Team Leader Opportunities – Disability Services ?
Our client is a specialist social care provider delivering Residential, Day and Outreach Services for children and adults with Disabilities and Autism. They are committed to supporting individuals to realise their potential and live meaningful, inclusive lives.
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting both Support Workers and Team Leaders to join their dedicated teams across Residential and Day Services on a permanent basis.- Available Roles
Support Worker
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred support in residential, day or community settings
- Promote independence, wellbeing and social inclusion
- Support daily routines, activities and community engagement
- Assist individuals to achieve personal goals and develop life skills
- Work collaboratively within supportive, experienced teams
- Contribute to a safe, positive and empowering environment
Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and support a dedicated staff team delivering high-quality care and support
- Ensure services are delivered in line with HIQA standards and relevant legislation
- Support children and adults with intellectual disabilities and complex needs
- Supervise, motivate and develop team members
- Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure responsive and sustainable service delivery
- Promote Person-Centred Planning and positive outcomes for individuals supported
- Participate in on-call duties and provide leadership across service operations
- QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification (minimum 8 modules completed) – essential
- Full manual driver's licence – essential
- Genuine interest in supporting people with disabilities and autism
- Strong communication, empathy and teamwork skills
- Flexible, person-centred approach to care
- For Team Lead positions, candidates must in addition to the above have minimum 3 years experience in caring for those with disabilities and a strong knowledge of HIQA standards
