About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager in leading the team and driving the success of our new store. You’ll:
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional customer service and hit sales targets.
- Coach and develop colleagues, supporting their growth and boosting performance.
- Deliver sales success by maximising opportunities, analysing store data, and staying on top of market trends.
- Ensure operational excellence – from compliance and stock management to maintaining high store standards.
- Champion health & safety, creating a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.
- Support with recruitment, training, and reviews, helping to build a high-performing, positive team culture.
- Passion for golf and customer service – or a willingness to learn quickly!
- Proven leadership skills, with experience motivating and coaching a team.
- Operational know-how, including compliance, store standards, and stock management.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills based on data and customer insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and colleagues.
- Organised and proactive, with the drive to deliver results and keep improving.
