Maintenance Manager

Our client, based in Kildare, requires a Maintenance Manager for their new, state of the art, food production facility. You will be joining an established company that is part of a large group of companies, where support and collaboration go hand in hand.

• Do you have an Electrical Qualification? Trade or Degree?
• Do you have 5 years experience leading a maintenance team in a production environment? (food preferable)
• Have you been involved in project management?
• Do you have budget management experience?

Your Duties will include:

• Drive plant efficiencies across all areas
• Design and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods
• Collaborate with the production team to provide engineering solutions
• Manage and update the Computerised Maintenance Management System FLEX
• Ensure constant supply of electrical services & mechanical services for the site
• Be actively involved in any lean initiatives to improve plant efficiency
• Manage the development and up-skilling of the site maintenance team
• Install & commission new equipment
• Be responsible for setting and achieving agreed maintenance budget and targets
• Manage Maintenance PO system
• Monitor and report on electricity, gas, refrigeration, water, and steam costs
• Manage external contractors
