Job Title: Governance & Operations Support Officer
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time / Dublin
My client is a leading Credit Union seeking a meticulous Governance & Operations Support Officer. This role is critical to upholding the robust governance framework, ensuring compliance, and supporting the effective operation of the Board and Committees.
This is a varied role within a Credit Union, responsible for Governance and operations, and also involves working with members of the Management Support team to provide cover for absences and contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain statutory registers and corporate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support the preparation of reports for the Board and senior management.
Assist in gathering information and coordinating responses for internal and external audits.
Facilitate the end-to-end process for Board and Committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and distribution of materials.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, discreet, and possess a strong understanding of governance within a regulated environment.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a governance, compliance, or company secretarial support role within Financial Services
Proven experience in minute-taking for formal meetings.
Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Facilitate the end-to-end process for Board and Committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and distribution of materials.
Attend meetings, record accurate minutes, and track actions to ensure completion.
Operational & Team Support: Provide administrative support for the organisation of corporate events, training, and internal programmes.
Work with members of the Management Support team to provide cover for absences and contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.Candidate Profile:
