Overview:

Purpose

Working with the store team in Kildare Village Ireland you will be responsible for managing the store while reflecting GANT’s vision and goals. As an Assistant store manager you willwork closely alongside the Store Manager, playing a key role in developing the team and drriving the store's success.

You will help lead by example, inspire hih performance, and foster a positive, customer-focused culture. Together, you and management team will uphold Gant's vision and values continuously raising the bar for excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively drive sales and support the team in achieving and exceeding store targets.
  • Monitor and manage store expenses and inventory, ensuring efficiency and accountability.
  • Ensure customer service is consistently delivered to the highest standard, in line with company expectations.
  • Act as a role model, reinforcing GANT’s customer service guidelines and brand values.
  • Adhere to all retail policies and procedures as outlined in the Retail Policy and Procedures Manual.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to ensure a clear understanding of GANT’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead and motivate the team to perform at their best and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure the store’s visual presentation and merchandising reflect GANT’s brand standards.
  • Oversee the store’s physical operations, including maintenance, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal standards.
  • Set priorities and objectives to meet short- and long-term goals, effectively delegating responsibilities where appropriate.
  • Ensure all store administration tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Store Manager to collaborate on decision-making and seek guidance when necessary.
  • Serve as a passionate ambassador for the GANT brand, delivering expert product knowledge to customers.
