The Electrical Process Engineer job:
You’ll support the reliability and safe operation of a major food production facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll carry out electrical maintenance, troubleshoot automation issues and support continuous improvement across the plant.
What You’ll Do:
- Electrical maintenance on production lines, utilities & process equipment
- Diagnose and repair PLC, automation, drives and control issues
- Complete PPM tasks and keep accurate documentation
- Support upgrades, installations and optimisation projects
- Contribute to energy, reliability and CI initiatives
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and H&S standards
- Support audits and inspections
What You Need:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years in food/FMCG/pharma/high-volume manufacturing
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
- Experience with PLCs, automation, drives and sensors
- Knowledge of GMP/HACCP (advantage)
- Ability to work shifts and respond to call-outs
- Team-focused with good communication skills
