Role Responsibilities:
The Role:
- To ensure the provision of a quality service to children and parents
- To work as part of a team and liaise with other team members & team leaders
- To come up with new ideas and activities to encourage learning with the children
- To liaise with parents/guardians of the children and keep them informed of their children’s day
- To report all areas of concern to the team leader/manager
- To participate in themed days within the crèche when needed
- To co-operate with TUSLA Early Years Inspectors
Working hours:
Full time position: 40 hours per week - Crèche opening hours are from 7.30am to 6.30pm, shifts are up to 8 hours in duration and will be confirmed by Management.
Required Qualifications:
- All applicants must have minimum QQI / FETAC Level 5 in childcare / early years education. All other qualifications must be recognised by the DCDE.
- Applicants must be eligible to work full time in Ireland.
- We are eager to find a candidate with a genuine passion towards Early Years. The perfect candidate would be hardworking, ambitious, creative and a real team player.
- Additional experience and qualifications are highly desirable. Garda Vetting (and international police clearance if having lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months) will also be required.
