About the Company:
This custom injection moulding company has supplied precision parts to medical device, pharmaceutical, and food industries globally for over 50 years. Employing 100+ staff, the site is commutable from Wicklow, Carlow, Wexford, Kildare, Arklow, and Tullow.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead the Quality Department, manage a team of 8, and oversee key projects across the site. You’ll champion quality, drive Lean and Operational Excellence, and implement the site-wide Validation Strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Quality team, ensuring KPIs and improvement initiatives are met.
- Conduct internal audits and Quality Systems Management Reviews.
- Investigate and resolve customer quality issues using structured problem-solving.
- Be a visible presence on the production floor, building engagement in quality and compliance.
Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in Quality or Science.
- 3+ year's experience in a Quality Manager role in manufacturing/life sciences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
