We are seeking a CE Kitchen Assistant to join the Lighthouse café kitchen team. The role supports daily kitchen operations in a welcoming environment that serves individuals experiencing homelessness.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation and cooking in line with menu guidelines and dietary requirements
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
- Organise and restock food supplies and pantry items
- Work as part of a team to ensure efficient and timely meal service
- Follow food safety and proper food-handling procedures
- Engage positively with café patrons to support an inclusive and respectful environment
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a community-focused setting
- Interest in developing kitchen and food service skills
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
- Basic food safety awareness (training provided)

This role is funded under the Community Employment (CE) Scheme. Applicants must meet Department of Social Protection eligibility criteria.- Sector:
